Training Policies
Payment
Payment must be received before a student will be allowed to sit in a class. Payment must be received at least 15 days in advance. A 10% additional charge may be added if payment is received after the 15th day before class. If an invoice sent from FishNet Security is needed for payment by check, please register with enough advance time to allow for the payment process to be completed.
Rescheduling Classes
A student may reschedule without penalty, 2 weeks prior to the start of the class. After that time, an additional fee may be charged.
Class Confirmations
Whether you register yourself or someone else registers you for class, it is the student's responsibility to ensure that an email confirmation is received before attending class. If you have not received a confirmation for each class you plan to attend, please email our Training Coordinator at secureskills@fishnetsecurity.com. Before you book travel to a class, it is very important to contact Secureskills either by emailing secureskills@fishnsetsecurity.com or calling us at 816-421-6611 or 888-732-9406 to verify that the class will be held. The registration confirmation or reminder emails are automatically generated and are not a guarantee that the class will be held.
Cancellation
If a student cancels a class more than 15 days in advance, a 10% penalty will be assessed. If a student cancels within 15 days of class, a 50% fee will be assessed. FishNet Security recommends that students reschedule or substitute instead of canceling. We reserve the right to cancel courses for any reason. Liability is limited to the return of payment only. We will not reimburse registrants for any travel or hotel cancellation fees or penalties.
Substitution
A student may be substituted for another student from the same company at any time. FishNet Security requires written verification of the substitution on company letterhead. You can fax (Attn: SecureSkills 816.474.0394) or mail (SecureSkills, 1710 Walnut, Kansas City, MO 64108) the substitution letter to FishNet Security.
Discounts
FishNet Security will run temporary discounts from time to time. FishNet Security does offer a standard discount. The standard discount is not available in conjunction with any temporary discounts or promotions that may be available.
